Congratulations Elizabeth!

In 2004 I graduated High School and recieved honors for my grades. I've always wanted to go to college and I knew it would be very challanging because I have Down Syndrome. I worked hard all my life and I didn't want to stay in high school. I wanted to go to college and learn sign language. I knew I was going to be with normal kids but I was determined. My mom came to college with me for the first semester and saw that I could do it and in my first semester I got a A. Now I am in my second semester in ASL II and on my own. I also volunter in the school I went to when I was a baby. I attended the Association for Children with Down Syndrome since I was 3 months to 4 years old. Now I am 19 and love working with children like me.When I was in high school I was a public speaker and spoke about my dissability and enjoyed it very much.
