Brothers & Sisters

I have an older brother who is nine years old and he has Down syndrome. This means that he is a slow learner. Having a brother with special needs is not always easy. He gets on my nerves sometimes, especially when he knocks over my toys. Even so, there are a lot of fun times that I have with my brother, too. Some of the fun things we do together are opening Christmas presents together on Christmas morning. I enjoy watching my brother open his presents becuase he makes a funny face. I also like when he sings his millions of songs. We have a lot of fun when we do cannonballs in the pool. When I go ice skating, my brother watches me, and waves and cheers for me every time I go around the ice skating rink.
We have a ball going on rides at the amusement park and jumping in the waves at the beach. I like to skateboard at the skatepark and he is really cute when he tries to skateboard too. It's alot of fun when we play music and dance around out room. We watch television whows together, like Sponge Bob, the Cosby Show, movies on the DIsney channel, and sometimes wrestling. I am really proud of him when he learns a new word or sentence. most of all, I like when he tells me "have a good day" every morning before I go to school. My brother is fun, and once you get to know him, he's pretty cool.
