2005 Scholarship Recipients
Following are the recipients of our scholarship fund. In each case, we believe the program involved will enhance opportunities and independence for young adults with Down syndrome.
Emily DeFrancesca, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is attending St. Anthony School Programs in Pittsburgh. St. Anthony is affiliated with both Duquesne University and Carlow College, allowing students the chance to take classes at Duquesne and Carlow while learning living skills at St. Anthony.
Kerri Cannon is also attending the St. Anthony School in programs mentioned above.
Brian Forsythe is a scholarship recipient from Washington, DC. He is attending the College for Living at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Maryland.
Meghan O'Conner is attending National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois.
