Celebrate! - New Parent Support Packages
The Celebrate! New Parent Support Package is the cornerstone of our outreach program. Celebrate! Packages are provided to registered support groups (click here to register your support group!) at a reduced cost, and then distributed to families within days of the birth or adoption of their child.
Why Celebrate?
We call it our Celebrate! package, because that's exactly what families and all of us should do when we discover a baby with Down syndrome in our midst. In 2006 alone, Band of Angels Foundation helped families across the US and Canada celebrate by distributing over 2500 new parent packages!
How do we Celebrate?
In each package, new parents will find the award winning Common Threads: Celebrating Life with Down Syndrome book and other Down syndrome introductory materials. Common Threads presents a realistic and positive portrait of children with Down syndrome. For many parents, Common Threads has been a life-changing touch point of inspiration and hope.
