Graduation

Thursday, June 05, 2008 @ 7:00 AM

As we look at the 18 years that have led us to where we are today, there is no shortage of people who changed our little piece of the world. Jordan is graduating today. From a highly competetive high school with a full diploma with three astericks for classes in which he had modifications. Pretty amazing. And his family and friends are part of the success. His older brother, Kevin, is in Iraq. From his very tenuous position running missions along the front lines of a very complicated war, Kevin wrote to his little brother reminding him that he has the highest GPA of the family. Being 8 years older, Kevin remembers those early days and dire predictions quite clearly.

For all the graduates and students receiving Certificates of Completion, congratulations!

For parents of younger students, keep working and call on Band of Angels if you need help with your student's academic support.

For parents of babies, the world is big and grand and wonderful. Do not ever accept dire predictions. Allow your child to amaze you every day.

Warmly,

Cynthia
