Along with the rebounding Michigan economy, our major fund raising event, Starry Night 2012, is back! This year's black tie optional event will be held at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan, on Friday, April 27th. Expect the unexpected! A great dance band, flaming dessert, rare wines, original artwork, and unique experiences offered through our auction. And you will be wowed by the achievements of individuals with cognitive challenges.
Matthew Gibb, Deputy Oakland County Executive, and his wife Deb are serving as our honorary chairs. Oakland County, has been a leader in job creation and in the resurgence we see in the area.
At Starry Night, our newest initiative, Jobs with Dignity, will be shared with you. All of the hard work we have done, with your support, over the past years will culminate in increased employment for individuals with Down syndrome and other challenges, This gives purpose to the lives of those we serve.
Your attendance is critical to our success. Make this a special night for you and your family, friends or co-workers.
Purchase your tickets now online. Sponsorships are also available. Be sure to check back in for updates and expect to see an occasional email informing you of special attendees and auction preview info!
Your support will make a difference to children and adults with Down syndrome, autism and other cognitive challenges. See you Friday April 27th!!
Warmly,
Liz Cocozzo and Cynthia Hutchison
