Wiegand's Nursery will host a book signing with writer and photographer Kelle Hampton known by many for her popular blog, "Enjoying the Small Things". Hampton's first book, "Bloom", takes readers on a wondrous journey through Nella's first year of life. Nella has Down Syndrome and Kelle has chronicled the joys and challenges of her daughter's life. Kelle has personal ties to the area and we are honored to have her partner with Band of Angels for this event. Please share this message with friends and teachers and support groups. Let's make Michigan Kelle's favorite stop. Look for a very special treat, as Weigand's is creating a special plant just for the day. It will be available at the nursery. It is quite unique to have a customized plant hybridized just for an occasion like this, but Kelle also has close ties with the great folks at Weigand's! See you there. All profits from the sale of perennial and annuals on Saturday, June 9th, along with a select list of plants will benefit Band of Angels Outreach Programs.
